The sub-series is comprised of texts in which the Spanish Civil War features prominently. Keep up to date on our new and forthcoming publications.
Michael will be joining the project as the artist-in-residence and research assistant as he continues his exploration of the history of shortwave radio in Canada. During the Spanish Civil War, Canadians were broadcasting across the Atlantic from Madrid to Canada (see Listen In!). For some context of Michael’s work on Shortwave Radio, listen to this interview with Veronica Simmonds for Visual Arts News.
