WE’RE CROWDSOURCING OUR BIBLIOGRAPHY:
DO YOU WANT TO HELP?

A photograph of several dozen Canadian volunteers in the Abraham Lincoln Battalion, with their fists raised in a gesture of solidarity.

It is well documented that the creation of the Oxford English Dictionary is one of the early examples of crowdsourcing. Over a hundred and fifty years later, the OED is still making appeals to the public for assistance. So are we. If you know of any texts about the Spanish Civil War with a Canadian connection (author, publisher, subject matter, etc.) that is not already in our bibliography (under the “Primary Sources” tab), please let us know. Already 6000 entries strong, we would love to continue to strengthen its comprehensiveness. Send us an email, we’ll do some checking ourselves, and then we’ll add your suggestion.
