In Part 2 of our interview with Tyler Wentzell, we talk about a whole lot of things: his research on Toronto's Standard Theatre, the Foreign Enlistment Act, canada and the Spanish Civil War from the persepctive of a military historian, and anti-fascism.

Tyler Wentzell's book, Not For King or Country: Edward Cecil-Smith, the Communist Party of Canada and the Spanish Civil War is forthcoming from the University of Toronto Press. 

He wrote about the Standard Theatre in Spacing's Spring 2018 issue: "Revolution Comes to the Theatre."

We asked about the records held in the Edward Cecil Smith papers in the Mackenzie-Papineau Battalion collection at Library and Archives Canada. Dream: digitize these papers so we can all read them.
